After their Champions League quarter-final defeat to Barcelona, Manchester Evening News reports that the Red Devils’ hierarchy have made promises to manager Solskjaer 3-0 defeat to Barcelona on Tuesday.
Speaking after the defeat to Barcelona on Tuesday night, manager Solsjkaer admitted that the club have a big rebuilding job on its hands ahead of coming season.
He said: “We know there’s work to be done. I’ve said all along that this isn’t going to change overnight.
“The next few years are going to be massive for us to get to the level that Barcelona and other teams are at.”
United next trip is to Everton in the Premier League on Sunday.
