The body needs above forty different nutrients, and no single food can supply them all. It is about a balanced food choice and not a single meal. Be focused on foods rich in carbohydrates, such as rice, pasta, cereals, potatoes, and bread. Feel free to include at least one of these at every meal.
Enjoy plenty of vegetables and fruits
The most important foods for giving us enough vitamins and minerals are fruits and vegetables. A glass of fresh fruit juice at breakfast or perhaps a piece of watermelon or an apple as snacks is a great idea.

Snacking between meals can help control hunger, but snacking should not replace proper meals, eating varieties of meals regularly, and in the right size is considered the best formula for a healthy diet. Following the intake sizes formula helps reduce the intake of calories, and will let us enjoy the food we love.
Drink plenty of fluids
Water is the best source; we can use mineral water or tap, plain or flavored, sparkling or non-sparkling. Adults need to drink at least 1.5 liters of water a day. Soft drinks, milk, Fruit juices, tea, and other drinks are all okay from time to time.
Maintain healthy body weight and exercise
Being overweight exposes the body to a lot of diseases including heart diseases, cancer, and diabetes, extra calories come from alcohol, any protein, fat or carbohydrate. The message is clear: when gaining weight, you need to be more active and eat less. Physical activity helps us burn off the extra calories, which is good for the heart and circulatory system. We could exercise the body by using the stairs instead of the elevator; going for a walk during lunch breaks or make time for activities during the weekend.
